Ron LaClair is shooting suckers
The history of modern traditional archery started in the early years of the last century. This time in our archery history was personified by the straight ended, glass-covered, Hill style Longbow.
Ron LaClair is deeply connected to the Hill style longbows by his special relationship with John Lee. We will fill you in on this special connection in due course.
Here in the following short video, you can see Ron LaClair with his 80 lbs Hill Style Longbow. This particular longbow was built by John Lee and with it Ron was able to bring home some loot!
It's not an especially high-quality video, but it features Ron LaClair, the father of today's short hybrid longbows, in his early bowfishing days. Enjoy the video!
